PME – Private Medical Exam
Encouraging preventative screening
PME - Private Medical Exam
Private medical exams are designed to diagnose for illnesses before they cause symptoms. It is important to early detect diseases such as coronary artery disease and colon cancer before they cause symptoms. This can help you and your doctor slow or stop disease progression.
Our private medical exam is recommended to anyone who are concerned about your health due to risk factors such as age, family history, diabetes, smoking or high cholesterol. However, even if you have no symptoms of diseases, we strongly recommend people over 40 years of age to consider adapting regular health screening practice.
Additionally, our private medical exam is also suitable for international travel and immigration tests. If your application process requires any specified medical exams or physical screening, please get in touch with us and we will guide you accordingly.
Importance of PME
While exercise, a balanced diet, and a healthy lifestyle are important to keep oneself healthy, it is also very important to go for health checkups at periodic intervals. Here are five important reasons why you should go for a regular health checkup:
- reduce your risk of getting sick through early disease detection
- identify stress related diseases
- be aware of your health
- get physical, mental and blood tests results feedback of your health
- reduce healthcare cost overtime
When do adults need a checkup?
People in their twenties often do not see a health care provider for several years without risking their health, while older people who have developed risks for certain diseases may see a health care provider more often. We recommend adults of all ages to get a professional healthcare provider to see you regularly.
You should definitely consider private medical exams in the event of the following conditions:
- When you are sick.
- When you have a symptom that could mean illness.
